Anne (1702-14), silver Post-Union Shilling, 1707, Edinburgh Mint, struck from dies supplied from London both sides, E below third draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ANNA. DEI. GRATIA., rev. inverted die axis, crowned cruciform Post-Union wide shields, five strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, J type 1 and wide O type zero, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG BRI. FR ET. HIB REG., no stop after first G R or B, weight 6.01g (Bull 1426; ESC 1143; S.3612). Toned, with some evidence of reverse die clash ghosted on obverse field otherwise very fine for issue.
