DEI. GRATIA., rev. inverted die axis, crowned cruciform Post-Union narrow shields, six strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, retrograde Z type 1 and figure zero, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG BRI. FR ET. HIB REG., no stop after first G second R and second B, weight 5.90g (Bull 1433 R2; ESC 1145e R2; S.3609A). Toned, with some light hairline scratches on obverse and spots, rim flaw on edge, otherwise a bold fine / almost very fine for issue, and rare.
