Anne (1702-14), gold Half-Guinea, 1711, Post-Union, draped bust left, legend surrounding, ANNA.DEI. GRATIA. toothed border around rim both sides, rev. Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, .MAG BRI. FR ET. HIB REG. weight 4.21g (Schneider 539; Bull EGC 490; MCE 234; S.3575). One hairline scratch by ear, a few other tiny marks, with mint brilliance, though a little bright in parts perhaps from a past cleansing, otherwise extremely fine with a great portrait.
