Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, abbreviated Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG BRI. FR ET. HIB REG., edge milled (Schneider -; Bull EGC 479; Farey 0570; MCE 226; S.3574). A pleasing example with some toning and surface marks in fields, good residual mint lustre, particularly in the peripheries, graded and conserved by NGC as XF45 with Ellerby Hoard label.
