Latin Declaration in three lines at centre between ruled lines RELIG: PRO: / LEG: ANG: / LIB: PAR:, three Bristol plumes above, date below, Latin legend and beaded borders surrounding, initial mark BR monogram depicted prone, EXVRGAT. DEVS. DISSIPENTVR. INIMICI, weight 2.76g (Brooker 1001; N.2503; S.3020). Toned struck a little off-centre on reverse and a little uneven in shape, weak at one part of legend both sides, otherwise a bold very fine, with a good portrait, rare.
