Charles I (1625-49), silver Sixpence, Nicholas Briot's first Milled Issue (1631-32), crowned bust of King left in stellate lace collar with drapery over cuirass, value behind with lozenge stop either side, beaded circle and legend surrounding, initial mark daisy and B, CAROLVS. D:G. MAGN. BRITTAN. FR. ET. HIB. REX., rev. quartered shield of arms over long cross fourchée, beaded circle and legend surrounding, tiny B at end of legend, CHRISTO. AVSPICE REGNO (Brooker 729; N.2301; S.2855). Toned, with surface porosity both sides, but lacking all adjustment marks, has been slabbed by PCGS as EF details due to the porosity of the flan, perhaps caused in the annealing of the blank flan before striking, unusual to find without adjustment marks.
