G' MA. BR FR'. ET. HI'. REX, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, crown type 3, beaded circles and legend surrounding, CVLTORES. SVI. DEVS. PROTEGIT, 2.24g (Schneider 235; cf.Brooker 198; N.2182; S.2712). Toned, spot of red wax deposit in obverse legend, a bold very fine, a pleasing coin with a good provenance.
