D G. MAG B.RIT E FRAN E. HIB. REX.,rev.oval quartered shield of arms, CHRISTO. AVSPICE. REGNO. weight 13.28g (Brooker -; Bull 490h/35; cf.N.2213; cf.S.2779A). Mottled tone, a bold very fine, a very good imitation struck after the official issue but probably before the Commonwealth period, rare as such.
