GRATIA., rev. inverted die axis, crowned cruciform shields, pairs of interlinked Cs in angles, garter star at centre, nine strings to Irish harp, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, no stops in legend, MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX, edge inscribed in raised letters, lettering of inverted orientation to obverse with words of closely spaced letters, ++DECVS ET TVTAMEN * ANNO REGNI XV, weight 29.72g (Bull 360 R2; ESC 27A R; S.3354). Toned, with some flecking, very fine, reverse a little stronger, rare variety.
