GRATIA,rev.crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, four interlinked Cs at centre, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .MAG. BR. FRA. ET. HIB. REX., weight 8.31g (Schneider -; Bull EGC 240 R2; Farey 80 ER; MCE 64; S.3342).Toned with a nice red hue, brighter in parts with associated surface marks, raised die flaw on reverse through ET, a bold very fine, very rare date and not present in the Schneider Collection.
