Hermes, nude but for cloak tied at his neck and holding long kerykeion in right hand, standing facing beside Aphrodite, wearing long chiton and leaning half-left on pedestal to right, placing right hand on back of Hermes, MAΛ to right, 22mm, 10.41 g, 1h (Casabonne Type 12; SNG BN 404 = de Luynes 2778, same dies; SNG Levante 155; BMC 26; Traité II 1410). Attractively toned, with some iridescence, slight die wear, good very fine.
