Elizabeth I (1558-1603), silver Halfpenny, sixth issue (1582-1600), Tower Mint London, portcullis with chains, initial mark escallop struck over A (1584-86) above, rev. long cross fourchee, three pellets in each angle, outer beaded border both sides, weight 0.22g (Withers 1c; N.2018; S.2581). Toned about very fine and a rare overstruck mint mark.
