George I (1714-27), gold Guinea, 1719, fourth laureate head right, legend surrounding, GEORGIVS. D.G. M.B.FE. ET. HIB. REX. F.D., rev. crowned cruciform shields, incorporating the Arms of Hanover, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, large letter legend surrounding BRVN ET. L. DVX S.R.I.A.TH ET. EL., weight 8.35g (Schneider 548; Bull EGC 510 R; MCE 251; S.3631). Toned, with surface marks and wear, has been graded and conserved by NGC as XF45 with Ellerby Area Hoard label.
