George I (1714-27),gold Half-Guinea, 1719, first laureate head right, legend with smaller lettering and broken serif Rs surrounding, GEORGIVS. D.G. M.B.FE. ET. HIB. REX. F.D., rev. crowned cruciform shields, incorporating the Arms of Hanover, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, large letter legend surrounding BRVN ET. L. DVX S.R.I.A.TH ET. EL., weight 4.02g (Schneider -; Bull EGC 535; MCE 267; S.3635). Fair / reverse good fine with surface marks, a scarce date.
