F.D, some stops absent,rev.crowned cruciform broad shields, incorporating the Arms of Hanover, ornamental sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, .BRVN ET L. DVX S.R.I.A.TH ET. EL. edge obliquely grained(Schneider -; EGC 529; Farey 710 ER; MCE 297; S.3670). Red and brown toning on the obverse, particularly in the peripheries, toning spots to the lower half of reverse, graded by NGC as VF35.
