George I (1714-27), silver Threepence, 1727, laureate and draped bust right, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding both sides, GEORGIVS. DEI. GRA., rev. crowned mark of value, date either side of crown, .MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REX., weights 1.53g (Bull 1627; ESC 2018; Robinson 185; S.3655). Attractively toned, colourful underlying lustre, practically extremely fine.
