George II (1727-60), silver Sixpence, 1728, young laureate and draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS. II. DEI. GRATIA. rev. crowned cruciform shields, garter star at centre, plumes in angles, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, M.B.F. ET. H. REX. F. D. B. ET L. D. S.R.I.A.TH ET. E. edge grained, weight 2.96g (Bull 1738; ESC 1605; S.3706). Toned with a little flecking on obverse, almost extremely fine and scarce.
