George II (1727-60), silver Sixpence, 1728, young laureate and draped bust left, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS. II. DEI. GRATIA., rev. crowned cruciform shields, six strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, M.B.F. ET. H. REX. F.D. B. ET. L. D. S. R. I. A. T ET. E., some stops weak, weight 3.02g (Bull 1736 R2; ESC 1603 R2; C&R 865 R4; S.3705). Toned with a few tiny flecks, raised die flaw at base of obverse up onto neck of King, otherwise a pleasing extremely fine and very rare this well preserved.
