SOIT. Q MAL. Y. PENSE., initials of William Wellesley Pole "WW P" incuse on left shield border, incuse W on right shield border for engraver Thomas Wyon, weight 5.65g (Bull 2156; ESC 1235D; S.3790). Once cleaned, some nicks and striated marks, a bold to good very fine and rare.
