Imperial crown, date above, emblematic wreath surrounding of roses, shamrocks and thistles, small K.G. to right of lowest rose for engraver Kruger Gray, denomination in words at bottom, Latin legend surrounding, .FID. .DEF. .IND. .IMP. weight 28.25g (Bull 3647; ESC 374 R2; Davies 1637; S.4036). Attractively toned, one small green spot on centre of crown, otherwise practically as struck, has been graded and slabbed by PCGS as MS64, very rare with only 932 examples struck.
