Hadrian (A.D. 117-138), AE Sestertius. Mint of Rome, struck A.D. 118. IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG, laureate bust facing right, with drapery on left shoulder, rev. ANNONA AVG (in exergue), PONT MAX TR POT COS DES III, S-C, Annona standing left, holding corn-ears and a cornucopiae, a modius at her feet on left and the prow of a ship on right (RIC 5604; C 180). Attractive brown-green portrait, excellent portrait, good very fine.
