Henry VII (1485-1509), silver Penny, York Mint, issued under Archbishop Rotherham, facing crowned bust, T to left of neck, trefoil to right, small saltire on neck, beaded circles and Latin legend surrounding, initial mark rose (1485-88), hEnRIC DI' GRA' REX AnG, rev. open quatrefoil at centre of long cross pattee, tri-pellets in each inner angle, second and third quarters with extra pellet, beaded circles and twin concentric legend surrounding, inner legend CIVI TAS EBO RACI, weight 0.64g (N.1722; S.2224). Toned with some ghosting of reverse through to obverse, a little uneven in shape, otherwise a bold very fine with a good face.
