Henry VIII (1509-47), silver Halfpenny, Canterbury Mint, second coinage (1526-44), small facing crowned portrait, T to left and C to right for Archbishop Thomas Cranmer (1533-56), beaded circles and legend surrounding, initial mark Catherine wheel, ---Dx---ExSPI--, rev. long cross pattee, trio of pellets in each angle, ---TASx xxCAn----, weight 0.35g (Withers 2b; N.1817; S.2358). Struck a little off-centre with legend partially flat spotted both sides, toned very fine with a nice little portrait of the King and clear Archbishop initials.
