Ireland, Edward IV (1461-83), silver Groat, first crown coinage (1461-63), Dublin Mint, crown within tressure of nine arcs, tri-pellets on cusps, outer beaded circle at rim, rev. cross pattee, tri-pellets in each angle, two opposing groups with annulet at centre, beaded circles and legend surrounding, weight 2.45g (DF 77; S.6272). Toned, a little short of flan from slight clipping, otherwise good very fine and very rare.
