Ireland, Hiberno-Norse Kings, Phase VI (c.1095-1100), degraded silver Penny, very crude ecclesiastical bust left with crozier before, blundered legend surrounding, rev. long voided cross, annulet at centre, tri-pellet sceptres in two opposing quarters, tri-pellets in other two angles, legend with blundered Dublin mint signature (D&F 32; S.6187). Dark tone with a touch of Verdigris, very fine for issue and very rare.
