James I (1603-25), copper Harrington Farthing, type 2 (1616-21), crown over crossed sceptres, Latin legend and beaded border surrounding both sides, King's name between sceptres, IACO. D G. MAG BRIT. rev. crowned harp with eight strings, initial mark trefoil on reverse only, FRA: ET. HIB REX, weight 0.50g (Peck 54; S.2676). Toned with an old "river" patina, otherwise a pleasing very fine.
