Youthful head of Demeter Hygieia facing right, her hair tied with a band, and wearing an earring, HYΓIEIA in very small letters along the lower edge of her neck, rev. META, ear of barley, with a thick leaf on right, 7.73g., 4h (Noe 411; SNG Lloyd 338 (this obverse die); BMC 62; HN Italy 1516). A little light porosity, broad flan, attractive cabinet toning, very pretty style and nearly extremely fine, rare.
