D: G. SCOT. ANG. FR. & HIB. R., rev. crowned thistle, legend commences upper right, .SALVS. REIP. SVPREM. LEX., weight 1.61g (Burns 2 var. fig.1002; S.5548). Toned good very fine, a little double struck on reverse, superior to the plate coin in the Spink catalogue, very rare.
