SEPRET, weight 14.90g (Burns 2, fig. 997; Bull 1b/S7-E; SCBI 35 [Scottish], 1411; SCBI 70 [National Museum of Scotland], 135ff; Murray pl. iii, 13; S.5541). Rich cabinet tone with residual mint bloom in the periphery, some weakness in the die or perhaps initial strike, otherwise very fine for type with a rare legend reading of Sepret as opposed to Separat.
