Scotland, Charles I (1625-49), silver Three Shillings, fourth coinage (1642), crowned bust left, thistle in field behind, linear circle and legend surrounding commencing at top, CAR. D. G. SCOT. ANG. FRAN. & HIB. R., rev. crowned quartered shield of arms in which Scottish lion features twice, .SALVS.REIP. SVPR. LEX., weight 1.63g (Burns 67, fig.1029; S.5592). Toned with slight bend in flan at top, some light adjustment marks both sides, very fine and rare.
