GRA., rev. pair of interlinked Cs at centre of crowned cruciform shields, thistles in angles, date either side of top crown, .SCO ANG.FR ET.HIB REX., edge plain, weight 3.26g (Burns 1, fig 1057; S.5622). Toned, about very fine for issue, rare first date of the denomination.
