Scotland, Robert III (1390-1406), gold Half-Lion of Two Shillings Sixpence, heavy coinage (c.1390-1403), second issue, Scottish arms within beaded circles, legend with lis stops, triple pellet after G, +ROBERTVS' DEI+ G: REX+ SCOTO+, rev. long saltire cross, fleur de lis either side, trefoil fleur above and below, legend with lis stops, XPC REGnAT XPC VInCIT+, weight 1.94g (Burns 5 fig. 352; S.5157). Toned with light red hue and some wear to high points, has been graded and slabbed XF45 and extremely rare.
