Sicily, Selinos (c. 540-515 B.C.), Silver Didrachm. Wild parsley-leaf, rev. incuse square divided diagonally into ten triangular segments, some raised and others lowered, 9.05g. (Arnold-Biucchi 2; SNG ANS 676). An excellent and well-struck example of this issue, without the striking crack usually encountered, with a beautiful iridescent cabinet tone, extremely fine.
