Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half Sovereign, 1873, die number 246 first young head left, type A2, date below, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, toothed border around rim both sides, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms in frame, die number 246 below, BRITANNIARUM REX FID: DEF:, (Hill 448; S.3860D). Extremely fine with natural corrosion, ex Schiehallion shipwreck piece, graded by NGC as AU details from saltwater damage.
