Victoria (1837-1901), silver Proof Sixpence, 1887, withdrawn type issued for Golden Jubilee, Jubilee crowned bust left, raised pellet at centre of neck, with initials J.E.B. in field below bust, right angled bottom to J, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITT: REGINA F: D:, the letter Rs with a serif at the lower right of the vertical limb, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, within Order of the Garter, French motto on garter, HONI. SOIT. QUI MAL. Y. PENSE., date below, weight 2.93g (Bull 3269; Davies 1151 dies 2+A; ESC 1753; S.3928). Evenly toned with a nice colour, well struck and defined with the unusual bonus of the little centring spot, practically as struck, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as PF64.
