Victoria (1837-1901), gold Five Pounds, 1893, crowned, veiled bust left, T.B. initials below truncation for engraver Thomas Brock, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA· DEI· GRA· BRITT· REGINA· FID· DEF· IND· IMP· rev. St George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, weight 39.95g (S.3872). Once polished, now lightly toning, some light surface marks, extremely fine.
