GRA., rev. crowned cruciform shields, small lis in French arms, emblematic sceptres in angles, Lion of Nassau at centre, date either side of top crown, .MAG. BR. FRA. ET. HIB. REX. weight 8.30g (Schneider 483; Bull EGC 403; Farey 370; MCE 174; S.3458). Golden yellow tone, though perhaps once lightly cleaned, a couple of light flecks and some striated marks in fields, a little weak at hair ties, a couple of flat spots in edge graining, otherwise almost very fine.
